Host a frog statue
We are looking for publicly accessible locations, in Baltimore and beyond, to host frog statues. Places where people gather to enjoy the city‘s many fabulous neighborhoods.

The frogs thrive best in places where people gather. Parks, markets, libraries, coffee shops, outdoor dining spots…
No Household Frogs
At this stage we cannot place frogs at private homes. That might change in later phases of the project (especially if a wealthy patron of the arts decides to rain money down upon us).
Creating Giant Frogs
Thanks to a planning grant from Maryland State Arts Council, we have developed a prototype for our “giant frogs”.
The Prototype
Each frog will be 40” tall (including plinth). Each frog will be uniquely painted and textured. Our protoype has been tested in punishing heat, high winds, and torrential rains. He didn't like it, but he survived undamaged.
Accessibility
Thanks to expert consultation from The National Federation of the Blind we are making the frogs a tactile, accessible experience.
Each frog will include an NFC chip and an accessible QR code, linking to an audio description of the statue.
Kid Approved
The prototype has been reviewed by several of Baltimore’s most discerning elementary school art critics. So far the reviews have been positive, with special praise being reserved for, “his big buggy eyes”.
